Han will lead Nexen Tire America from its U.S. headquarters in Diamond Bar and assumes the role effective immediately. Han takes over from former CEO J.S. Nexen Tire America is opening a new distribution center located at 2190 Creekside Parkway in Lockbourne, Ohio.
The new Ohio distribution center marks the third addition to its list of U.S. distribution facilities, joining the existing two located in California and Georgia.
Nexen Tire says it is continuing to provide the same level of support to its network of tire dealers during the COVID-19 quarantine. Tyre manufacture at Nexen Tire’s Changnyeong plant in South Korea resumed yesterday after a two-day break in production in order to implement “protective measures” against coronavirus. In disclosures submitted to the Korea Exchange (KRX), the tyre maker reported its intention to suspend tyre production in Changnyeong on 1 and 2 March, and resume operations on 3 March.
