Alliance Tire Introduces 7-Foot Harvest Tire

Alliance Tire Group has introduced new sizes of agricultural tires to its Agriflex line, including one size that’s almost seven feet tall.

James Crouch, national product manager for Alliance’s agricultural division, said the new sizes include the Agriflex 372 IF 1250/50R32 and the Agriflex 372 IF 1050/50R32. Both tires feature technology that allows the tire to have lower air pressure, carry more load and minimize soil compaction.

Solvay advances “promising” silica technology

Lyon, France – Solvay has reported “promising results” from tests of its Premium SW silica product in truck, agricultural and winter tires.

Continental re-enters farm tire market with new introductions

Hanover, Germany—A little more than two years after it confirmed plans to re-enter the farm tire market, Continental AG has launched its first two standard ag tires, the Tractor 70 and 85, and said they’d be available in North American this summer.

The premium radial drive tires are available initially in 14 sizes, a fraction of the 100 sizes Conti said it will offer in its radial and bias-ply tire portfolio by 2019.

Yokohama to Expand Off-Highway Tire Production Capacity in India

The Yokohama Rubber Co. has announced that it will expand the Yokohama Group’s global production capacity for off-highway tires by adding new facilities at ATC Tires Pvt., the Indian tire manufacturing and sales subsidiary of the Alliance Tire Group (ATG), which Yokohama Rubber acquired in July 2016. Construction of the new facilities will begin in February at ATC Tire’s Dahej Plant in the state of Gujarat.
