Yokohama Tire Corporation will implement a price increase of up to 6% on select commercial truck and bus tires sold in the U.S. This includes drive, all-position/steer and trailer tires, and is effective Dec. 1, says the company.
SEOUL, South Korea — Nexen Tire Co. Ltd. has developed an artificial intelligence-based technology that it claims will allow it to reduce both tire noise and pass-by noise generated by cars and tires.
The company said the AI- and big-data-base “prediction system” has been in development since 2018 in partnership with Hyundai-Kia Automotive Group and Inha University in Korea and will help it increase customer satisfaction, improve the environment and research and development (R&D) time and costs.
