Conti recalling over 5,000 commercial vehicle tires in North America Washington — Continental Tire the Americas LLC is recalling 5,356 Conti Coach HA3 commercial vehicle tires, size 315/80R22.5, because of a manufacturing anomaly that could lead to a loss of internal pressure through the sidewall.
The tires being recalled were manufactured at Conti’s plant in Mount Vernon, Illinois, from 27 Aug 2017, to 28 April 2018, and sold in both the OE and replacement markets in the US, Canada and Mexico.

NHTSA Issues Kumho Recall Over Potential Tread Separation The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has issued a recall affecting about 1,700 Kumho Solus tires manufactured in March and early April. The 1,773 affected Solus KH16 tires in size p225/65R17 were manufactured between March 26 and April 1. According to the NHTSA, the affected tires may experience tread separation in severe conditions. Under the recall, Kumho is required to notify owners of the defect and tire dealers will replace the tires, free of charge.

Tire Recall: Antares Comfort A5 Tires The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that Zhaoqing Junhong Co. Ltd. has initiated a recall on 1,916 Antares Comfort A5 tires.
The tires were found to potentially experience sidewall separation while driving. Sizes involved in the recall include LT 225/75R16, 118/116S 10 PR and were produced between May 8 and May 21, 2017.

NHTSA urged to order Chrysler Pacifica recall because of stalling A consumer-advocacy group is calling on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to investigate complaints of stalling in 2017 Chrysler Pacificas and order a recall of 150,000 of the vehicles. The nonprofit Center for Auto Safety issued a news release Monday saying more than 50 people have reported that their Pacifica minivans have stalled without warning and said the center has filed a petition with NHTSA requesting the recall.
