Michelin, partners building large-scale bio-BD plant

Paris – Michelin and its partners, IFP Energies Nouvelles and Axens, are scaling up their BioButterfly project with the construction of an “industrial prototype” plant for the production of bio-based butadiene.

Launched in late 2012, the €70-million BioButterfly project is a 10-year scheme aiming to produce butadiene from plant-based ethanol, to be used for the production of environmentally-friendly synthetic rubber.

Pirelli honours nine companies in 2019 Supplier Awards

Milan, Italy — Pirelli & C. SpA has honoured nine outstanding supplier companies recently with its 2019 Supplier Awards.

Pirelli chose the nine companies out of more than 10,000 that supply the tire maker globally, according to a 26-Sept Pirelli press release.

“Quality, capacity for innovation, speed and global coverage of supply were the key elements guiding the selection for the 2019 Supplier Awards,” Pirelli said.

Pirelli regains global social media crown

Continental presents CARE at Frankfurt Motor Show
